How to make Cheese Quesadillas (Recipe)
To make cheese quesadillas, follow these simple steps:
Ingredients:-
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 cups shredded cheese (such as cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend)
- Optional: toppings such as sliced jalapenos, diced tomatoes, or chopped onions
- Optional: sour cream, guacamole, or salsa for serving
Instructions:-
1. Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat.
2. Place one tortilla onto the skillet or griddle and sprinkle half of it with about 1/2 cup of shredded cheese, leaving a small border around the edges.
3. Optionally, add any desired toppings over the cheese.
4. Fold the tortilla in half to cover the cheese and press down lightly with a spatula.
5. Cook the quesadilla for about 2-3 minutes, until the bottom tortilla is golden brown and crispy.
6. Carefully flip the quesadilla using a spatula and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes on the other side until cheese is melted and tortilla is crispy.
7. Remove the quesadilla from the heat and transfer it to a cutting board.
8. Repeat steps 2-7 with the remaining tortillas and cheese to make the remaining quesadillas.
9. Allow the quesadillas to cool for a minute or two, then cut each one into wedges using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
10. Serve the cheese quesadillas hot with sour cream, guacamole, or salsa for dipping if desired.
Enjoy your homemade cheese quesadillas!
