How to make Wonton soup (Recipe)

Making wonton soup is actually quite easy! Here's a simple recipe to follow:
Ingredients:-
- Wonton wrappers
- Ground pork or chicken
- Shrimp, chopped (optional)
- Green onions, finely chopped
- Garlic, minced
- Ginger, grated
- Soy sauce
- Sesame oil
- Salt and pepper
- Chicken broth
- Bok choy or any leafy green vegetable, chopped
- Optional garnish: additional green onions, cilantro, chili oil

Instructions:-

1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork or chicken, chopped shrimp (if using), green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are fully incorporated.

2. Place a teaspoon-sized amount of the filling onto the center of each wonton wrapper. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold it into a triangle shape, pressing the edges together to seal. Bring the two ends of the triangle together and press them lightly to form a wonton shape. Repeat this process until all the filling is used.

3. In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, add the wontons to the pot and let them cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until they start to float to the surface.

4. Add the chopped bok choy or leafy green vegetable to the pot and let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until tender.

5. Taste the soup and adjust the seasoning with soy sauce, salt, or pepper if needed.

6. Serve the wonton soup hot, garnished with additional green onions, cilantro, or a drizzle of chili oil if desired.

Enjoy your homemade wonton soup!
