How to make Hash browns Recipe?

To make Hash browns, follow these steps-:
1. Start by peeling and grating 2 large potatoes. You can also use a food processor to grate them quickly.
2. Place the grated potatoes in a colander or sieve, and rinse them under cold water to remove excess starch. Drain well afterward.
3. Take a clean kitchen towel or cheesecloth and wrap the grated potatoes tightly. Squeeze out as much moisture as possible to prevent soggy hash browns.
4. Transfer the grated potatoes to a mixing bowl. Add salt, pepper, and any other desired seasonings (such as garlic powder or paprika) to taste. Mix well to evenly distribute the seasonings.
5. Heat about 2 tablespoons of cooking oil (such as vegetable or canola oil) in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
6. Once the oil is hot, add the seasoned grated potatoes to the skillet, spreading them out in an even layer. Press down lightly with a spatula to compact them together.
7. Cook the hash browns for about 5-7 minutes, or until the bottom side is golden brown and crispy. Flip them over using a spatula and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes on the other side.
8. Once both sides are nicely browned and crispy, transfer the hash browns to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
9. Serve the hash browns immediately while they're still hot and crispy. They go well with breakfast dishes like eggs and bacon.

Enjoy your homemade hash browns!
